The owners of a Bedford-based business that delivers cocktails by post have launched a crowdfunding campaign after winning gold at this year’s SME Bedfordshire awards.
Letterbox Cocktails is a family-run business founded by local entrepreneur Jennie Bayliss. It makes cocktails and delivers them straight to your door, a fantastic idea well welcomed by the people of Bedford.
Jennie says her cocktails feature bold flavours, premium ingredients, and eco-friendly packaging, which have gained much traction since she started in Clapham in July 2023.
Last year, Letterbox Cocktails won the Business Show VIP Launchpad competition for early-stage founders, and this year, they were named Best New Business at the 2025 SME Bedfordshire Awards.
Their latest milestone is a crowdfunding campaign to support further growth, which is now live on Crowdfunder.

This campaign is chock-full of fantastic rewards, ranging from exclusive cocktail bundles to personalised experiences, and some low- and no-alcohol options too. You can even have your very own cocktail named after you.
Jennie has said: “We’ve got big plans – expanding our range, growing our team, and reaching even more people across the UK. But we want to do it with our community, not just for them.”
With rising support for small businesses in Bedfordshire, Jennie hopes that Bedfordians will stand with her and become a part of the brand’s unique story.
