The Chief Executive Officer of The Bedford College Group, Yiannis Koursis OBE FRSA, has been awarded a Fellowship by the Chartered Institution for Further Education, recognising his contribution to the Further Education (FE) sector.
The Chartered Institution for Further Education celebrates high standards in technical, vocational, and professional education. Fellowship is awarded to individuals who demonstrate sustained excellence and leadership within the sector.
Yiannis Koursis said: “I’m truly honoured to be awarded a Fellowship by the Chartered Institution for Further Education. It’s a privilege to join a community of professionals who are so deeply committed to the advancement of technical, vocational, and professional education.
“Further Education changes lives, and I’m proud to continue championing the sector alongside colleagues who share a passion for creating opportunity, driving innovation, and serving our communities.”
Mr Koursis has led The Bedford College Group since 2019, overseeing a period of growth and development.
In 2023, he was awarded an OBE for services to Further Education.
The Bedford College Group said the Fellowship is a reflection of Mr Koursis’s leadership and the Group’s continued contribution to the sector.
