Survivors of domestic abuse are being invited to join a new group that will help shape how services are delivered in Bedford Borough.
The Survivor Voice group will create a safe space for individuals aged 16 and over to share their experiences, reflect on what helped them recover, and offer advice on how support can be improved for others.
Members will meet regularly with one another and with decision-makers at Bedford Borough Council to ensure that the voices of survivors directly influence future services.
Open to all
The group is open to survivors of all genders, sexual orientations, and ethnicities. Those taking part will be asked to commit around four hours a month, with specialist support provided by Victim Support.
Anyone interested is asked to register before Friday, 7 November 2025. Meetings will be held monthly in Bedford.
