Fans of Mexican dining are in for a “flavour explosion” on Riverside Square, as Bedford’s first ever Taco Bell restaurant opens on Wednesday, 3 December with the promise of free burritos for an entire year for three lucky fans as part of the grand opening.
Taco Bell is perhaps better known for its US influence with over 7,500 restaurants worldwide, but it has been growing its European presence, with Bedford the latest location as one of its 140 UK-based stores.

“We’re thrilled to expand Taco Bell into more areas across the UK”, said Ian Cranna, General Manager of Bell Europe.
“This new Bedford Taco Bell being our tenth equity restaurant opening since our last one in August demonstrates our confidence in the market and sets the stage for future growth opportunities”, he added.

To celebrate the big opening, Taco Bell has said three lucky fans will score free burritos for an entire year, plus handing out 100 “exclusive Taco Bell tees”, as well as free nachos, cinnamon twists, and Red Bull to fuel the fun.

Everyone who comes along can also take a spin on the prize wheel for even more giveaways.
Taco Bell say guests can expect the “fast, friendly service that Taco Bell is known for worldwide”, while dishing up “fan favourites” such as the Crunchwrap Supreme, Crunchy Taco Supreme, and Volcano Burrito, alongside a range of available vegetarian options.
“We’re excited to bring our unique brand culture and connect with the people of Bedford”, added Taco Bell’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chet Patel as Taco Bell adds to the range of other eateries in the town centre.
The new restaurant is located at Riverside Square opposite Vue cinema, and will welcome guests daily from 10:30am-11pm.
