Appeal for witnesses

Detective inspector Craig Wheeler, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has died at this sad time.

“We are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, has information, or may have dash cam footage of before or after the collision, to get in touch with us as soon as possible, as this could help us with our enquiries.”

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is asked to contact the police online or via 101, quoting Operation Plaistow.
